Kirstin Waldmann is a visual artist based in Roselle, New Jersey. She is currently an undergraduate at Drew University, in Madison, NJ, with majors in both studio art and art history. While creating art primarily through collage and printmaking, she also utilizes digital design and animation software. Waldmann’s work has been exhibited in both institutions she has attended, and she assisted in spearheading two art exhibitions at Union County College in Cranford, NJ. Her work focuses on the retention of memory through objects, and the mental spaces that house such objects.

As an art historian with a focus in ancient and medieval art, she employs her research in her artwork. Her research also reinforces her future aims to contribute to art-historical journalism and education.
